Please ignore the super loud air cleaner in the background. We use it for 'white noise' while Maverick is sleeping and I'm so used to it that I didn't even notice it was still on! It's easier than having Maverick spend his first 3 months sleeping with the bathroom fan on like Mitchell! :)
Maverick has a clogged tear duct in his left eye. It is yucky and gunky all of the time :( According to our pediatrition, it should clear out on its own, but it might take up to 9 months. Ah!!! I've been massaging it as much as he'll let me to try to speed along the process, but no improvement yet. Keep your fingers crossed for a gunkless eye in the near future! :)

We had the clogged eye duct thing. We had the pediatric opthamologist clear it in October if you want to revisit the blog post, but I would recommend being diligent with the massaging every time you're nursing him. Our pediatrician told me to do the massage at our one month appointment and I just forgot completely about it. She didn't mention to do it while he was captive and distracted during nursing! I thought of that much later. Then I felt guilty about having to do the probe thinking "what if" I had done a good job trying the massage. . .
We had the clogged duct too and got drops to go along with the massage. They helped speed the process for us.
Love it!!!! Oh my, he really is adorable!
