Katy & Jordan's Wedding!

Jacob's little sister (Katy) got married!!!   We all made the trip to Oklahoma for the big wedding extravaganza...and it was so much fun!

Here are the bride and groom leaving the reception after a sparkler farewell!

Macallan won the title of youngest kiddo at the wedding.  He did fabulous! :)

ALL of Jacob & Katy's siblings were in attendance.  He and his family came in from Philly :)

Jordan and Katy asked Mitchell and Maverick to be ring bearers.  Oh, they were so excited!

He finally found the bow tie...

....and decided he didn't like it much!

Cousin Greyson was so helpful with the boys, as always. He's a great role model for the little guys!

Maverick is especially fond of him :)

Newlyweds Craig (Jacob's brother) and Josset flew in from Vegas, although they are moving to Denver later this year.

Mitchell was so excited to get to spend some time with his cousins.  Riley is about a year older than Mitchell, and they are big buds!

All seven Folks/Flint grandkids.  Only ONE granddaughter!

Aunt Skyler was the Maid of Honor.  It is fun to watch how close of a relationship she has with her niece, Allie.  They're only a few years apart.  Macallan was tossed from arms to arms like a hot potato.  He didn't mind one bit! :)

Although Mitchell really was all smiles most of the night...
....as always, he had his moments!

Jacob & his Dad (and Mav, of course!)

If you can't tell, Maverick really enjoyed himself :)

Father of the Bride

Jordan & Katy's wedding and reception were in the same location, called the Oh! Space. It was a two story house made into an event location.  It was very modern and open!  Perfect for the occasion!

The wedding processional started from the 2nd floor and came down the stairs.  Mitchell did a wonderful job of walking down the stairs by himself and delivering his ring pillow to the officiant.

Maverick, on the other hand, needed a little assistance from me.  He tried to hand his pillow to the wrong man first, which elicited lots of laughs from the crowd.

He finally made it over to the right man :)

Here comes the bride!!!  Katy is lucky enough to have two wonderful fathers in her life :)

Let the ceremony begin...

Mitchell was a DANCE MANIAC at the reception.  So FUN to watch!   He called this little girl (Jordan's cousin) his "dance partner".

Jacob and I at the reception.

Jacob and Katy.  She made such a beautiful bride!  :)

The reception went a little longer than some of the kiddos could handle.  Riley crashed out on the couch.

Mitchell slowed down too, with some help from cousin Allie.

Mitchell sprawled out on an ottoman.

The reception ended with a sparkler farewell.  We all joined in on the fun!

A most heartfelt congratulations to Katy & Jordan!  We had a wonderful weekend celebrating with them!!!

It's hard to say goodbye....

....to the first house you purchased as a married couple.  Where you brought each of your boys home from the hospital.  If these walls could talk, they'd tell tales of a happy couple, becoming a happy family one child at a time :)  Yes, indeed, it was tough to lock the door, and drive away from this house.  But before I reached the end of the cul-de-sac, in the midst of my teary eyed moment, I looked in the rearview mirror at the boys.  They were already enthralled in their movie playing on the DVD player.  I looked over at Jacob, wondering if he was processing the same emotions as me...nope, he was fumbling with his phone, late to join a conference call for work.  So, I drove away in silence... watching our home grow smaller and smaller in my rear view mirror.  And then I realized, that the VERY best things about this house, is the people I share it with.  And they're all moving with me to Minnesota.

Now...if I could somehow transplant our neighbors, friends and my dad :)

No move to Minnesota is complete without a picture at the welcome sign!

Below is a picture taken by Mitchell during one of our many stops.

Thank to my mom, we were greeted with a nice sign upon our arrival to our new home!

I ran around the house and took pictures of each room.  They will be posted as "before" pictures once I have the "after" pictures!

And then it arrived.   The contents of our life, loaded into one huge moving van that took 3 days to unload!

We had lots of helpers to unpack!

"All of this stuff gives me a headache!"

The boys invented ways to make fun out of the mess! :)

All in all, everyone agreed that moving is EXHAUSTING!
