Grandpa's 90th Birthday Party!

My Grandpa Apollo is an amazing man....so kind, smart, gentle, hard-working, loyal and loving!  We celebrated his 90th birthday this weekend with a big party at my Aunt Teresa & Uncle Logan's house.

There was even an add in the local newpaper :)

The cake couldn't have been more appropriate for a man that farmed most of his life.

Aunt Teresa had it decorated so nice!

My boys played outside on the tractors much of the day and had greasy hands and TICKS to prove it.  Grandma helped de-tick and bath when we got home :)

Lunch time!

Maverick helped him blow out the candles :)

Cousin Kinzley showed off her new walking skills!

Like mother like daughter :)

Baby Grant made his first trip to Kansas from Wisconsin.

Everyone had such a great time visiting with family and friends!

Dixie Brewer, all the way from Amarillo, Texas!

My Grandpa got to celebrate with his youngest sister, Helen, who traveled all the way from Wisconsin for the party!

Tim, Nancy & Mike Bonner - My mom's cousins

Vada and her friend & her brother, Lewis Bonner on the right.

Helen Lorenz (Gpa's sister) & her daughter, Susan -- both from Wisconsin

My Grandpa and his three children - Uncle Danny, my mom and Uncle Logan.

Grandpa met his newest Great Grandson, Grant!

Grandpa with his granddaughters and great grandchildren.

And now join the spouses...

Fun had by all :)

St. Patty's Day Fun!

Our green crew had a great St. Patty's Day!

Complete with lucky charms and green milk for breakfast :)

It was even Jacob approved!

No lucky charms for little man, but he doesn't look too distraught! :)

Next, we joined some friends at the Annual St. Patty's Day parade in midtown.  We happened to stand right next to a man carrying a big cross.  We all enjoyed the parade.

Macallan is 4 Months!!!

Macallan is already 4 months old!!! He is growing and changing each day.  He is SUCH A GOOD BABY!  Seriously, Jacob and I can't believe our luck!  God must know we've got our hands full and cut us a break. :)

Pediatrician stats
Weight - 15lbs, 8 oz (70%)
*same weight as Mitchell at TWO months!
*1 pound less than Maverick at the same age

Height - 27 inches (98%) - tallest of the three at this age

As usual, my photo assistant, Maverick helped me with the pictures.  The biggest challenge was getting Macallan to look at ME!

Macallan is such a strong little guy.  He is propping his head up so well these days and rolling over both from front to back and back to front (started Feb 25th).  He even rolls himself over in bed now so that he can sleep on his tummy.

He even tries his hardest to get his little knees up underneath himself when he's on his tummy.  We're expecting an early crawler.  It's funny how you respond to that the third time around.....Jacob said "Give us a few more months, buddy!"

Maverick wanted to make sure he wasn't left out of the chair shots :)

Winter Wonderland?

It's official.  We officially had the warmest winter on record.  It lierally BARELY snowed all winter.  We got a few flakes the other day, so the boys (and dogs) went outside to enjoy for a bit.  It was a wet snow, so Mitchell was all too happy to use his umbrella.

He was a happy camper after his outside fun.

Macallan enjoyed watching his brothers from the inside.

I am completely obsessed with his spikey hair.  It does this all on its own, no product needed!  It is the most adorable little crew cut I've ever seen!  And it's sooo soft to rub...believe me, I do it A LOT! :)

Maverick's outdoor snow playtime wore him out and he just had to come in to snuggle with his baby brother.  Oh yeah, and suck on that thumb.  Hmmm....nap time!
