Family Fun Weekend

We had some friends in town visiting for the weekend (The Beller's). Jacob went to college with both Brent & Emily and they have two girls just slightly younger than our boys. We enjoyed a cookout on Friday night, a family picture session on Saturday morning, followed by a short trip to Deanna Rose and an adults only dinner out on Saturday. Here are a few of our family pics...it's rare to get all 4 of us in one photo!

Mitchell had lots of fun hanging out with Adeline. It's our turn to visit next in July!

I love this photo below.  They are so good at playing together (most of the time), but they are also such strong individuals too.

The happiest of Mother's Days!

What a great Mother's Day! I literally got everything I wanted :) A little rest and relaxation (a NAP!), lots of time with my boys (all three of them) and a photoshoot of my favorite subjects (in our church's memorial garden before church). A pretty simple day, really....simply wonderful.

Oh, and Jacob got me a little point and shoot camera to carry in my purse. I absolutely love my big camera, but often find myself reluctunt to carry it (to the zoo, etc) because of it's size. I'm excited!

Ahhh...finally a picture of them together where they are both smiling! Too bad Maverick's head is blocking Mitchell's a little...I'm never satisfied, huh? :)

I absolutely love this last picture. I'm not quite sure why, but I just think seeing Maverick in the background is so cute :) He was FASINATED with the waterfall...in fact, he tried to take a nose dive once. We had to get out of there before he was too wet to attend church!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Moms out there...especially my Mom.  She is the best Mom and Grandma!  We love you!

Kelli & Mark's Wedding!

My sister, Kelli & Mark were married on Saturday in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was a GREAT wedding! We headed north on Wednesday and lived in wedding mania for four days. What a great time! :)

It did rain some on their wedding day, but it didn't hinder things at all!

Look how beautiful the church was!

Her theme was sailboats, so the boys dressed as sailors. Mitchell was a perfect ringbearer!

Little Mav wasn't so perfect during the ceremony, he was a little upset that he couldn't stand with me and the other bridesmaids :)



I doubled as Matron of Honor and photographer (with LOTS of help from Jacob). I'm still sorting through the 2,200 photos, but had to at least post a few! More to follow.....
