Maverick is 2 months old!

Little Maverick is not quite so little anymore! He's 2 months old today - wow, how the time has flown! He is such a precious little thing - a smiley, happy baby. I often refer to him as "my teddy bear" because he prefers to sleep on you rather than on his own! He will be dead asleep and as soon as we lay him down, his little eyes will pop open and the crying begins. As soon as you pick him up, he'll immediately stop crying and fall back asleep. REPEAT! Sounds humurous...except when it's 3am!





We're celebrating his 2 month birthday by packing away his newborn/0-3 month clothes :( I'm so sad to see them go, but the little bugger is just tooooooo tall for them! We have our 2 month pediatrician check-up on Friday and I can't wait to see how big he has gotten. I know for sure he has NOT outpaced his brother in weight, but I'm thinking he might be taller than Mitchell was at this point. These last two months have been so enjoyable with Maverick. I'd consider him an "easy" baby...cuddly and easy going. He still wakes multiple times at night to nurse and cuddle. Honestly, it's kind of nice to have the night time with Maverick since most of the day is dominated by his big brother!

Mitchell and I often talk about how he is the BIG brother and can do BIG boy things like eat and play with toys. Maverick is too little for those things. Today when I told Mitchell it was Maverick's 2 month birthday, he said "His birthday is very little." Ummm....sure.
