Preschool Christmas Party

Mitchell had a little Christmas Party at preschool.  They performed 5 or 6 cute little Christmas songs for us.

Don't those kiddos just look like a lot of work? We gave his teacher a nice Christmas present :)

The teacher gave each kid a little gift....not the best gift for a 2-3 year-old.  When they opened the little bag, there was a "present" inside.  Apparently the "present" was their present....

...which understandably was confusing for them, so most of them (including Mitchell) kept unwrapping to find a square styrofoam block.  Mitchell carried his "square" around with him all afternoon.  Why do we spend money on toys again?

One of the kids, took it a step too far and broke his styrofoam block up into tiny little pieces.  His parents were sitting right there, I'm not quite sure why they didn't stop him.  They even left it for the teachers to clean up...hmmm...

Mrs. Roach referred to Mitchell as her star performer (she probably told every parent that!) :)

Those presents presents are sad! So confusing! I totally forgot about the daycare teachers this year so far. Thanks for the reminder. I'm just losing track of how close we are to Christmas!!
