Folks Fast Fixin' Fudge

It is a long-standing Folks family tradition to make fudge for Christmas.

Here's Daddy's little helper...

...helping himself to some fudge!

It's been a while since I posted some Mitchell funnies....let's see.

1. Last time Grandpa Bays visited, he noticed our LARGE pile of toys in toybox. Grandpa said "Mitchell, maybe we should give some of your toys to kids that are less fortunate. Which ones would you like to give?" Mitchell thought for a moment and answered "Maverick's"

2. When playing with play-doh and got two different colors of it stuck together. He said "What in tarnation?" (He later told me he got this from a cartoon show (Ozwald)...seriously, I KNEW that one didn't come from me.

3. I was trying to explain to him why we can't run around naken 100% of the time. He is now convinced that his pee-pee is his "pirate" parts. Yes, his own twist on the term "private" parts.

4. Jacob was having Mitchell throw some trash away for him. He obliged a few times and then said "I don't want to help anymore. That trash is not my problem. It is your problem." Little Republican?

5. He says "Seriously" all of the time. For example, Jacob was wrestling with him on the bed. When Mitchell had had enough, he said "Seriously, Dad. Get off of me."

6. Maverick is still not the biggest fan of his carseat. He will have crying spells now and then in the backseat and Mitchell HATES them! He start of nice...."Don't cry little Maverick. There is no need to be sad." When that doesn't work, it'll quickly turn to things like "Mom, please help get Maverick out of this bad mood!"

We never tire of hearing what's next outta this kids mouth :)

I love Mitchell funnies! Phoebe's into saying tarnation also...as well as, "Are you kidding me?" and telling Griffin (when he takes her "stuff") "This is off lemons!"
