Unfortunately, Maverick spent his first Easter in the hospital :( I took him to urgent care at Children's Mercy South on Friday night because he had a high temperature and was really conjested. It turns out that he caught bronchiolitis.
Due to his conjestion, he was having a hard time getting enough oxygen. They admitted us to the hospital and we spent the entire weekend there as he slowly recovered and were released Monday morning with flying colors. He's still a tad conjested and hoarse, but otherwise he's back to his smiley old self!
Our "teddy bear" got LOTS of cuddle time in the hospital!
Jacob went ahead and took Mitchell to our little neighborhood Easter Egg hunt. He had a blast :)
There are 3 families that live close to us that have young kiddos. The boy in the yellow shirt next to Mitchell (Luke) was born ONE DAY before Mitchell. The same family has a little girl (Grace) that was born ONE DAY after Maverick. Their mommy was born 2 days after me. Strange coincidence! It's like we were destined to be friends :)

Oh no! So sorry you were in the hospital on Easter! Although, CMH isn't the WORST place to be ;) Glad Maverick is feeling better.
Poor little guy! Glad Mav is well and home again.
Poor baby! Looks like the Easter Bunny still found him though. Glad he was able to sleep and snuggle with you guys instead of in the hospital bed.
