Folks Family visits for Christmas!

We welcomed a house full of family for a late Christmas celebration! Jacob's Dad, step-mom, sister (Skyler) and brother (Connor) traveled all of the way from Maine. His other sister (Katy) and her fiance drove up from Oklahoma for some family fun!

We did lots of fun things while they were here, including Smore making in the newly fixed firepit on the back porch.

Grammy & Grandpa spoiled the kids with a new Powerwheels Jeep! We drive it in the park behind our house. The boys love it!

The family was excited to meet our newest addition. Here is Macallan and his Aunt Skyler who just finished her first semester of college.

Next it was Grandpa Folks's turn to cuddle with the 7 week old.

Mitchell really enjoyed hanging out with Connor...his video game buddy.

Aunt Katy got to meet the little man too.

We surprised the family with a fun treat - a limo ride through the Plaza lights. Mitchell was had the limo all to himself before everyone piled in.

Next up was some gingerbread making fun, which has become a tradition at our house.

Diane and Skyler were playing on their computers, so Maverick joined right in with the Ipad. Is it sickening that our ONE year old can work the Ipad better than me? :) Seriously, he can! He calls the apps by name and scrolls around to find them. Amazing!

Mitchell was glued to Skyler's side for most of the visit...he even slept with her!  At one point, Mitchell leaned over and said "You are my favorite one that came to visit." Ahhhh :)  One night he fell asleep watching a movie and Uncle Jordan carried him to bed.  Mitchell woke up yelling at 3am.  I went to find out what was wrong and he said "You put me in the wrong bed!  I'm supposed to be in Skyler's bed!"  He went and crawled in with Skyler and we didn't hear from him the rest of the night.  

The northeastern Folks with the Kansas Folks boys! :) We REALLY enjoyed their visit!
